Meet our team

The team consists of cognitive behavioural therapists, counsellors, employment advisors, interpersonal therapists, psychological wellbeing practitioners, team coordinators, service managers, clinical leads and admin teams. All staff have one main focus, which is to provide you with the best care possible.

Cognitive behavioural therapists

A cognitive behavioural therapist will work with you to help you understand your problems. They help explore the thoughts you have about yourself, others and the world around you. They also look at the way you behave and the impact your behaviour has on thoughts and feelings. Your therapist can help you to change how you think and what you do. This can help you to feel better about your life.

You will deal with issues that are preventing you from achieving your goals and ambitions. This will help you to gain a more positive outlook on life, in a safe environment. Employment advisors

If your difficulties relate to employment, you may be referred to an employment advisor. They can support you with work related issues.

Interpersonal therapists

Your interpersonal therapist will help you to focus on your relationships with others. They can also help with problems such as communication difficulties. You will explore how your mood can influence how you relate to people close to you. Read more about interpersonal therapy on our website.

Psychological wellbeing practitioners

Psychological wellbeing practitioners (PWP) help you to work towards feeling better about your problems. Your therapist can provide support using brief cognitive behavioural based techniques. They can introduce appropriate self-help materials and other services. Read more about working with a psychological wellbeing practitioner.
